Kyle and I took Landon trick or treating around our neighborhood while Nana and Dowie stayed back to help pass out candy. Our neighborhood is crazy at halloween.. lines of kids! Landon was so cute.. hed walk up to the door, knock, and hold up his bucket and would say thank you after receiving the candy. Got so many compliments on how cute he was and how he was so polite saying thank you at such a young age. (of course! I would NEVER let my child be a impolite brat :) ) although... towards the end there were a few houses with kitty cats inside and he got soooo mad that they would not let him come in and play.... screaming lil dino.

BUT

he quickly got over it... and when we got home he had so much fun passing out candy. His face would like up everytime the doorbell rang and loved giving the kids candy.

This morning grandpa passed.

I am okay with his death, but I am sad with the thought that landon wont ever get to see him again.... wont ever get to hear his odd jokes, or see him walk around with his white holy tee and suspenders and worn out jeans or ever get to see his amazing wood work. * I am greatful for the cake topper he cut for our wedding*

None of my future children will ever even get to meet him.

He went in peace. He will be missed. Hes on to better and bigger things.

after a much needed tubby we went outside and lit our pumpkins... landon pointed and said " oh pumpkin oooOooo pumpkie" and then we heard the train and all attention shifted to the "choo choo". Oh the attention span of a 20 month old. ;)

She just start graduate school at Seattle University!

so Landon and I headed down to hang with her one evening... we hung out and caught up on each other's gossip, headed down town *only almost got in a accident maybe 4 times*, and ate at the cheese cake factory!

grandpa.

My mom & dad, brothers, landon and I headed over to Port Orchard to see my grandpa (my dad's dad) a little over a week ago. He hasn't been feeling so well. Has been on dialysis for a year or so and has been fighting infections quite often lately. He has made the most difficult decision ,probably in his life, to end the dialysis. I wish him comfort,peace, and to be pain free. I'm just happy he met my baby boy, and saw me become a nurse.He even told me it might be time to have another baby :), and told me to finish school for sure-which I will.

He has always been the most ornery guy and jokes constantly :). Have memories playing house in his yard with my brothers and my twin cousins.

-today he came home from the hospice house.. and is comfortable.
