I married this boy.

and each day that goes by I love him more.

That is gonna be a whole lot of love in 70 years from now!







We both had to work till 11pm on our anniversary.Picked up the babe, got home, put the baby back to sleep and then enjoyed some champagne & cookies. We didn't turn on the TV nor played on our phones-- we just talked... I loved it.

These were stolen from my mother-in-law from a few weeks ago. Sunday's Gamma and sometimes Gampa watch Landon while Kyle and I are at work. Anyway, I never really get to see them other than a few minutes before I have to leave so I have noticed I don't have many pictures of them! :(

Friday night we took Landon to his Uncle Blake's football game.He loved all the attention and of course loved the cheerleaders,the band, and the bulldog mascot!

It is always a little strange to go back to the high school where I graduated almost 7 years ago. Although they have done some major remodeling there the feeling of MVHS is still the same- it really doesn't feel like I've been gone that long...

Kyle and I will be married 2 years coming up September 26th. With a lot going on next week,we decided to do dinner and a movie to start the celebration last Thursday. We dropped Landon off with Nana and headed up to Anthony's in Bellingham for dinner and then back down to the valley for a movie. Then came home and had a baby free night! even got to sleep in the next morning :)

Katie came to visit for the weekend!! Saturday we did some shopping ( she always knows how to get me to spend money) and also went for her birthday lunch. We then came home bathed the babe and put him down, then we watched Insidious *scarrrrry*. Sunday we headed down to Everett to kate's moms place to hang out at the pool! I was a little nervous that the boy wouldn't like the pool but he did!! he floated around in his floaty and just had a ball! He even put his head under the water with his mommy holding him two times!!!

I had a great week off with my boy! I really needed it- to be with him 24 hours a day. With me working 32 hours a week... I still feel like Im missing out on so much. I can't wait until the time comes that I can be a stay at home mom and raise my kids the way that my mom did* Although I wouldn't mind working maybe 1 or 2 days a week to keep up my nursing skills and have a little adult time*

Gosh, I love that kid.

at summers end...

It's the end of summer... School started up this week for kids around here- which is the perfect time to take a mini day vacation to the lake (we pretty much had the place to ourselves). Summer has finally came for us in the Pacific Northwest, showing us temperatures as high as in the mid 80's this week!! I think we deserve it after all the gloomy weather we have had for most of our so called "summer". Landon took to the water much better than last year, only threw a fit when I had to wash off the large amounts of sand that he put on his head, and when his feet couldn't touch the bottom- he slightly freaked out. All in all it was a great family outing!
