Hood River

A little over a month ago my dad moved down to Hood River, Oregon. He got a new job down there. My mom will move down there when Blake graduates High School in 2012. Anyway, Last Friday my mom, Landon and I decided to go down there for a quick over night trip! A long 5 hour drive!!! but the boy did just fine :)

Long time no post... we've been busy!





although it may not look like it from the above pictures the boy was sick!!! *have to take him to the doctor kinda sick*... of course all I got from the doc was its just viral! then baby gave the bug to daddy!










He is so much fun!!!! I love him!

Well, a week after turning one Landon got sick-- his first real sickness.

Congestion, cough,tempatures, puking.... oh my!

After lots of suction, saline nasal spray, vicks rub, hot steamy rooms, cold air outside, and a trip to the Dr. who said ohhh its nothing... it will pass. this momma is tired and baby is too!


a sick baby is not fun at all-- although this momma does kinda like how loveable he is.


Hopefully it will pass soon...


but then again daddy is starting with the symptoms. uh oh.

12 months.

HES ONE!

I swear.. the night after his party this boy's true colors showed.

Heres his stats:
wt- 22lbs 6 oz 50%
ht- 30inches 50%
head cr.- 47.4 75%

what hes been up to:

-He has taken about 2-3 steps a couple times before falling over
-He just recently started letting go of things and standing.. I think about 3-5 seconds
- He has his own language.. and let me tell you its funny to hear.. mix of Chinese and German maybe??
-he eats anything you give him
- hes weaned off formula and now is on whole milk! yay
- hes taken to a sippy cup better lately
-Hes learned how to push his cars around on the floor
- he holds up the phone to his ear
-he can throw some major fits.
- he pouts and whines when you tell him no... cute boo boo lip!
-He still takes 2 naps and sleeps 11 hours at night.
-hes wearing some 18months shirts but still growing into his 12 month bottoms.
-hes fast!
- he know what a nose,eye, and hair is... hes learning mouth.
-hes still fascinated with peoples mouths and the noises that can be made by them.
-He always wants to go bye bye
-He loves this small blue blanket with a bear head on it.. so ugly.. but he has to have to sleep!

thats all I can think of now..

I can't believe my baby is one!!

but it is so much fun!

oh yeah I forgot.

about the 18 inches of snow we got right before landon's birthday and oh yeah it was also snowing the entire time of his party! but we have hardcore friends and family that still showed up to party! :)
