2 month stats
* 10 lbs 14 oz (50 percentile)
* 22 3/4 inches (50 percentile)
The doctor declared him the most perfect baby! He also received his first dose of shots :( but he took them like a champ and only cried for a few seconds.



At two months here are somethings landon has been doing:
* he can lift his head up and has pretty much full control of it although he does a headbutt from time to time
* he can roll over from his tummy to his back
* smiles are becoming more social instead of reflux
* hes cooing and talking up at storm
* his bowels are DEFINITELY working.. and peeing on daddy is becoming less of a daily thing.
* hes liking bath time more
*hes sleeping about 5 hour stretches through out the night.
* he has horrible gas... and would rather fart than burp.. daddy helps him pass the gas with nightly leg exercises
* hes eating 4 oz every 4-5 hours
* he loves to look around at everything
* he loves staring at mom and dad
* he loves car rides

play date #2

So, Marissa and I thought we would try again with the play date.. got there and kami and aria were fast asleep and landon was a fuss ball. Of course he fell asleep when kami woke up...blah blah blah... After they both woke up they were both crying ( don't know how moms handle twins!) so they had lunch together, afterwards got a few shots of the two before the fussiness started all over again.

Id say play date number 2 went better than the first one! it will be fun to watch these two interact

Day in the life of Landon J.

Landon just wanted to share his day to day life with you....


start to wake up around 11am... sit in my bouncer while still a bit drowsy waiting for mom to make me some breakfast.. then eat...

get dressed for the day.. play with dad and the cats for a bit maybe do some tummy time if im in the mood. I just started rolling from my tummy to my back so I think thats pretty cool!


mom usually makes me pose for daily photographs... obessessed much mom?! like my little mohawk in the making?!..... then later in the day I usually get visitors.. like here with aunt kate.

Eat again... take a nap... wake up and chat with mom a bit.

I like the whole world to know whats going on so I sure have learned to use my lungs for the ocassional screaming session.. but my mom and dad just usually laugh at me and think I look cute when mad! HA. Ill show them! oh yeah, I do really like my swing and my plug as dad says.... Im a sucker for sucking!


To end the night... I chat with my dad for a bit.. tell him how my day went and what I did with mom while he was at work.. and then bed time 10pm... and then ill wait till my mom finally hits some REM sleep and wake her up at 3 or 4 am to eat.. hehehe...



ahhh what a LIFE!! :)

landons 1st trick

Our boy can roll over from his tummy to his back!!!... although he can't master rolling from his back to his tummy yet but we continue to work on it. Those darn arms just don't do what he wants them to do! don't mind my high obnoxious voice..... must be the camera ;)

first mini road trip

We decided to take a trip down to Port Orchard to see family and friends down there before I have to go back to work. Port Orchard is about a 2 hour drive from here and is where both my mom and dads roots are so lots of history in that town! We stayed with my aunt (doe-doe) in what use to be my grandmas house.

Tummy time.

Tummy time is becoming more tolerable now that Landon can hold his head up a little better although he does seem to be a bobble head at times but that beats a flat head!
His happiness is short facing the ground because he loves to look around especially at his red curtains behind him.. the boy has a curtain fetish especially red ones... in about 20 years look for him on HGTV

He is pretty content laying on the ground kicking his feet though

Kyle and I decided the weather seemed nice enough for a little walk. We bundled the baby up like it was going to snow and let him sit in the stroller like a big boy :) It was a short walk around the block but it was fun. I think Landon enjoyed it too!

These hands

I think my son might have a hand/face obsession going on.. We can not seem to keep his hands away from his face. Feeding him can be a disaster.. hands everywhere.. fingers between the nipple of the bottle and his mouth making milk go everywhere... geez
so to help with this issue... we discovered the baby straight jacket as daddy says. He loves to be in tight!
I think he loves it.

although he does try to escape from time to time.
