birthday parties, baby dates, and cuteness

5 months and counting.

Our boy is 5 months old! I can hardly believe it.

He has changed so much the past few weeks.

Here's what hes been up to:

*He's been eating rice cereal and baby food... so far hes tried squash, green beans, and bananas.. Im proud to say hes not a picky eater so far!
*He eats 6 oz every 3-4 hours
* he makes the cutest grunting sound when he poops
* he goes to bed around 830pm and wakes up around 9 then takes a morning nap around 1030-11. He still isn't much of a napper though.
*he loves to stand, the boy can be screaming and if you stand him up... hes a happy boy!
* he can sit up leaning forward unassisted for about 5 seconds before either going to the side or taking a nose dive.
* I think hes beginning to teeth because hes becoming grumpy and wants everything and anything in his mouth not to mention the amount of drool coming out of him!
* he loves watching morning cartoons
* he gets bored easily and needs activity stations
* he loves car rides
* he talks and talks and talks
* his laugh is to die for!
* his tummy and thighs are ticklish
* he loves to lay in bed with mommy and daddy in the morning
* hes still in 3-6M clothes but some brands are getting a little snug and is in size 2 diapers
*I lay him on the floor to play and when I come back he has rolled and scooted himself pretty much across the room.
*he loves his mommy and daddy!!!! and they love him!

nana and papa time.

Landon has been spending some time with his nana and papa since moving with a baby is pretty much impossible!




Hes also spent some time with grandma linda but I don't have a picture of her!

Landon loves hanging out with his dad by himself two days a week. Mommy doesn't know what these two do all day when Im at work and I may not ever know... but I love coming home to home to them!!!




oh yeah,

Landon has found his toes... and today he actually figured out that he could put them in his mouth.
he loves putting anything and everything in that little mouth of his!

RICE cereal?? pshh,no problem. so.... here is Landon's first taste of sweet potatoes with his rice cereal. I think he likes it! although, Im sure hes more interested in the bright colored bowls and the spoon than anything else.

Landon had his first taste of rice cereal last night, and well let's just say he loved it! boy oh boy was it messy but he couldn't get enough of it.

In all, It was a great day!

it's official..

We're moving!!!

hopefully the 22nd of this month. We wanted to move out of this crazy neighborhood and also save some money since Kyle will be going school full time this fall in Everett for Central University!!


So, Packing and Moving with a 4 month old in this kinda heat??? well should be interesting to say the least.


This house will always have memories to kyle and I. It will always be where we brought our first baby home to.

what a scorcher!!

Well its officially summer here in the North West. Highs of mid 90's.... yikes! so we have been hanging around the house with the AC going and all the blinds and windows shut... Sort of isolated from the world, but that's not always a bad thing. So... we hang out, play a little, laugh a little, sleep a little, anything to keep cool.

Afternoon naps and family visits.

Its getting warmer around here which means its getting hard for the little man to take naps comfortably. On this certain day he was resting up for a visit of the Nelke clan. Kyles dad, uncle and aunt were on their way from the east side.
