birthday boy!

daddy, daddy, daddy.

Last week Landon and daddy went to the store and came back with a toy car track.....

which this little man can't get enough of.

He sure has been a daddy's boy lately.

conversations usually go like this

Daddy : " can daddy go upstairs to do homework?"

Landon: "no, daddy sit, play cars"

Daddy : " ok, but only for a a few minutes"

Landon " okay play cars, crash, fast,"

and when I go get him out of the crib in the morning, kyle is usually still sleeping from being up till 3 am doing homework.

Landon: "DADDY!! Daddy! wake up! come on!"

Although it is adorable.. mommy is feeling a little neglected.

In other news, Kyle only has a few more weeks until he graduates with Bachelors degree, and I just went to my orientation for the RN program for this April. we are busy busy.... this mommy is very nervous to go back to school with a toddler.

the snow has come and gone....

and this past week we have had some nice

SUNNY

days.

Perfect days for playing in the park.

Which is Landon's favorite thing right now.

Everyday I hear "park, swing?"

Snow day!

We have had about 5 inches of snow this week. I guess we kinda lucked out... Gamma reports 15 inches at her house --only 20 minutes away and news reports are saying there is "state of emergency" for further down south because of the snow/ice. I think we got just the right amount-- at least to make this boy happy.

he'll bring all his gear to me and say "mommy... boots, coat, snowm??"...... "snowm, pwease"

its like 26 degrees out, but it doesn't phase him... we had to bring him in kicking and screaming. :)

Landon potty

YAY!

Our boy went pee pee on the potty today!

Hooray!

He didn't seem to care to much, and looked at me like I was crazy when I got excited :)

We haven't officially started potty training- we have been putting him on the potty every once and awhile when we think about it.

 Past week or so hes been sitting on the potty for more than .3 seconds, and says "yes" when asked if he wants to sit on the potty.

 He just recently has been using the potty as a stalling technique-Im pretty sure....  he;ll say "pee pee.. potty" when we just got him all changed and snug in bed..... hmmmm.

but since I'm off for 10 days we might try this potty training out...
