crib transition? CHECK.

Last night was officially the first night the little boy slept in his big baby bed!
and... he did great slept a good 7 hours woke up around 6 am and ate then snuggled between his mommy and daddy until 10 am... what a perfect morning..


mommy only checked on him a... few... times! and she may or may not have slept with the baby monitor on full volume to hear every peep made. I plead the fifth.



he loves the starry night and his giraffe that makes river sounds.. talk about relaxation station! thanks to nana!

getting control of these hands

Landon is starting to reach for his toys and recently learned when he pulls on his toys they make noise! mommy and daddy are THRILLED that most toys are gonna make noise.

no reason

first time in a bumbo today! I think they will be best of friends :)

Grandma and Grandpa came to visit! brought along some clothes and pizza! landon loves presents and he will soon love pizza!

transition time

Kyle and I have been slowly talking about transitioning landon to his crib from his mini crib in our room. We are starting slow... but when landon actually takes a nap longer than 15 minutes we try to put him in his crib. There are still 2 obstacles to hurdle. One is that he still wakes up at 4 am to eat, lazy me would rather scoop him up from right next to me rather than walking to his room. Second, is that he still loves to be swaddled at night and im not sure if I like him being swaddled when Im not close just in case he needed to use his arms to move away from something so he didn't suffocate himself. I know I know .. nervous nelly.... what can I say!
so its a transition for mamma and baby not so much for daddy.

welcome home uncle dave

This was uncle Dave's first time meeting mr. landon... Dave had been over in New York the past 7 months for work. He had been home a whole 4 days and they had to make their way up this way so Dave and Landon could meet! I think they like eachother :)

play time

Landons favorite pass time other than sleeping, eating, and pooing is laying on the floor on his back eating his hands or playing with his toys. Hes still not a big fan of tummy time and usually rolls himself over to his back.




His smile is my favorite!
